IN/SIGHT 2010, An Introduction to American Indian Art

This past Thursday, I had the privilege of attending the packed gallery opening of IN/SIGHT 2010, a showcase of American Indian art at the Chelsea Art Museum. The event was sponsored by UNRESERVED Alliance – an organization devoted to fostering and encouraging the talents of American Indians, with whom we've recently partnered with to develop a social media strategy. The event was covered by the NY Times, BBC, a variety of art blogs, and more. Our efforts are in collaboration with The O Group and Company Agenda, two NYC-based marketing firms. Here's a snippet about the brand from their website:

The mission of UNRESERVED is to foster and encourage the talents of American Indians interested in exploring and pursuing careers in the worlds of fashion and art. UNRESERVED seeks to create awareness and bridge American Indian communities with established companies and organizations in these industries, renewing the relevance and power of American Indian cultures, ensuring a sustainable model for self-sufficiency and driving economic development.
