Resource Point

Purple, Rock, Scissors created motion graphics spots for Resource Point, a local non-profit organization linking needy individuals with government agencies, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits able to provide necessities such as food, shelter, and employment. The three 30-second spots employ motion graphics to tie in Resource Point’s three goals (Giving Hope, Connecting Communities, and Changing Lives) and are narrated by the renowned Dr. Joel Hunter.

The illustrations in the motion graphics spots have a hand-drawn, but modern, look featuring multicultural characters to reflect the diversity of the local community. Using easy-to-interpret symbols and fluid animation, the spots focus on conveying the emotions of frustration, confusion, and hope, and to show the ease with which individuals can use the Resource Point system.
