Personally: My day starts early, usually around 4-5 AM. I find that waking up early gives me a head start and some quiet time to plan my day. One of my key rituals is taking an ice-cold shower before 8 AM. This not only wakes me up but also invigorates me, setting a positive and energetic tone for the day.

Professionally: By 10 AM, I typically have a standup meeting of some kind, where my team and I synchronize on our tasks and goals for the day. After the standup, I dedicate a solid three hours to production and output, focusing on development tasks or strategic planning. I prioritize having lunch with my wife every day, as it is an absolute must for me to maintain a healthy work-life balance and stay connected with my family. The afternoon is reserved for dealing with any urgent issues that arise (or "fires") and attending various meetings. These meetings might involve cross-functional teams or be related to ongoing projects, ensuring that everything stays on track and any potential problems are addressed promptly.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role as a Development Manager is the opportunity to help and influence as many outcomes as possible. This includes directly steering development projects and fostering collaboration across different functions within the company. But to see the sprawling city concrete landscape from a high vantage point was awe inspiring as well.
